One viewer wrote "I thought this showed excellence in everything from the making of the film, the sensitivity and choice and range of people and the pure history and long may (??) Savile Row and such people exist and flourish."
Some viewers will recognize some of the well-known personalities in Savile Row; they look a little younger as this was filmed in 2015.
I enjoyed watching the tailor who couldn't remember the name of an old oversized wooden and weighted pressing tool. I assume it was called a clapper even back then. He said cloth was heavier and stiffer years ago as it needed a lot of steam and weighting to set the cloth.
This link has short interviews on some of the men and women featured in the main video.
I remember watching it a while ago, very enjoyable.
Have you seen the following three-parter? (also very good). https://archive.org/details/BBCSavileRowDocumentaryPart1LoveThyNeighbour/BBC+Savile+Row+documentary+-+Part+1+-+Love+Thy+Neighbour.mp4
If this is the documentary I think it is, then the camera crew were clearly bored at one point because in one episode they placed the cutter of Anderson & Sheppard in front of a stuffed stag's head so that its antlers appear from either side of his head. He's totally oblivious to this, of course.
