I don't know what Reza thinks of these awards, but I enjoyed watching them. There was a surprisingly wide range of men's and women's styles. It was wonderful to see the top three winners are all young women! The competition was held at the impressive London based Merchant Taylors Hall (built in 1347).

With the competition including a wider range of styles, I hope to see someone do their take of a Lee March's bomber jacket with coordinating trousers.
I'm very glad we have this competition. It really helps younger tailors to compete at some level. Any industry that wants to excel needs some sort of competitive event that challenges creativity and skill.
I entered the competition in 2017 by submitting my first ever jacket made. What I wear in the photo is the second one. Did not win though.
