Hello Reza,
Luckily, I got the bundle for the traiditional model as Christmas present, and I am following your instructions along since then.
You said in one of you canvassing videos that the direction of the padding stitches on the canvas would not matter and in a later video that a padding stitch is just a convenient way to attach the domette to the canvas.
I saw a tailor who attached the domette with a large and wide machine zig-zag stitch. Apart from not being the classical tailroing technique, does a machine zig-zag has any disadvantages on the final garment?
Thank you very much for your reply.
With best regards
Klaus
Hello Klaus!
First of all, congratulations on your Purple Box!
I hope the videos are helpful so far!
As for your question, indeed I have answered this previously and and would have typed exactly the same here. Hope you found my previous answer helpful. If you still think that my answer is not specific to your question, please let me know.
Happy to help with any other questions as they occur :)

I'd be interested in hearing the answer to this question as well. I'm going to wait until my sewing skills advance a bit more before I dive into a Purple Box, but I saw a video on YouTube of a guy zigzagging the canvas and thought of all the parts to do with a machine, the canvas would be an obvious first choice.
