How to Order in 3 Steps

1. Choose Your Size

Measure the width of your middle finger, 3mm above your first finger crease. Take this measure with a straight ruler and with your palms up.

Do not pressure the ruler against your finger when measuring; It might widen your finger and give wrong results. Look at the ruler with one eye and straightfrom the front.

Choose the size closest to this measure and order your Atlas. See product photo's for reference.

2. Confirm Your Size

Before sending your Atlas by DHL express delivery, you must confirm the size of your finger.

To do this, we will send you our physical measurement card by Royal Mail. The card usually arrives within 5-7 working days.

The card contains a QR code. Scan this code. It will take you to an instruction video for best results.

Confirm your size with us via mail so that we ensure you get the right thimble. You can send us photos, videos or questions if you are in doubt.

3. Receiving Your Atlas

Once you confirm your size by mail, we will ship your Atlas with DHL express for fast delivery. You won't be charged for shipping.

    Excellent

Extremely well thought through, best looking and feeling thimble I’ve ever had.

Fantastic customer service! It took me a while to finally receive my Atlas (not ISOT fault) because quite a few problems occurred on the way.

All of which were resolved thanks to Reza and Mowgli effort - they’ve done everything possible and impossible for me to get the Atlas.

    excellent tool!

Atlas thimble has become my best buddy in the atelier. I have a better grip on the needle and I feel I have more power to push the needle trough all kind of fabrics. The heavy weight in comparison to a light tin thimble is very comfortable!!!

I ordered a M size first but it turned out to be too tight. The return went without very problems. Great service at all time by Mowgli and Reza.

Think about this: as a tailor you invest in a propper iron and pair of scissors. DON'T ECONOMIZE ON THE THIMBLE

    A tool and a jewel

...I feel it a bit like a jewel. When I take it off I miss the weight and I want to put it on again, my finger feels somewhat naked. This is said by someone that wasn't used to use a thimble and who used the fourth finger to push just some weeks ago. As I fear to loose it and looks so shiny and beautiful, I've put it a chain and wear it as a necklace when working with my patients during the day. Also it's some pride to see people as Paul Kruize using the same! I'll keep you updated. Thanks!

    • What is the included pattern based on?
The pattern included for these lessons is Reza's personal pattern. We want you to follow the lessons with a pattern that we know works. Using your own pattern may create problems that we have no control over, which can undermine your learning experience. Learning how to make a jacket can be overwhelming. Adding the pattern making process to it can be disastrous. The effective student takes one step at a time. In our experience, the fastest route to mastering this beautiful craft is to first focus on making a jacket with a well made pattern that isn't yours. This will eliminate any distractions that you otherwise would have when working with your personal pattern. We also want you to experience what it's like to make something for a "customer". Your approach will be very different. You will activate other parts of your brain. Your personal wishes and preferences will be turned off and you will concentrate on the techniques and not the likelihood of the jacket fitting you or you eventually wearing it. You will focus on becoming technically proficient. To increase the value of this process, we will hold periodical reviews. These are optional. You can send your work to us at a small fee and we can give you personal feedback. You will see your work on Reza and he will evaluate what you've done well and most importantly, what you can improve and how. More info on this service will be available soon.
    • Do you sell the materials individually?
No. We don't sell the materials individually. If you are looking for individual materials, check out our international suppliers list here.
    • Can I cancel or return my purchase?
Absolutely! If for whatever reason, Purple Box fails to deliver a smooth, convenient, and effective learning experience at any stage of your journey, we insist that you let us know. We will fully refund your purchase, including any additional customs charges that you may have incurred.
    • When will my Purple Box be dispatched?
Your Purple Box will be dispatched within 1-2 working days of your order being placed. Once dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email along with a tracking number. Most destinations will receive their Purple Box within 3 days after dispatch. More information can be found on our Shipping & Refunds Policy.
