Jacket Patterns
You will begin your journey by creating garments from commercial patterns. Soon you'll attempt to draft your own patterns with dot-to-dot and proportional systems from old books. Unfortunately these produce block patterns and won't address the nuances of your physique.
Learning tailoring is damn frustrating. Why? Because you're trying to solve a big riddle made of smaller ones. Our online coat-making course guides you through these smaller riddles step by step and allows you to focus on solving one at a time.
When learning with us, you'll use our Traditional and Pagoda Model patterns. These are Reza's personal body patterns. Since the pattern is not yours, you'll concentrate on first learning the basic construction techniques without being overwhelmed by other factors.
While these patterns are included in your Purple Box course bundle, we've also made them available as free pdf downloads here. All our large-scale patterns can be easily printed at home using a desktop printer.
